Meet The Flintstones (A Lot of Them)

Some people love the Hanna-Barbera characters so much, they amass collections. Some small, some big.

Reader Evan Borisinkoff has been collecting Flintstones items for the last 15 years. He’s managed to get his collection organised enough to post pictures of it on the web.

  1. I've seen several Flintstones memorabilias on the stores from here, São Paulo...
But these variety of memorabilias shown on this topic (and on the indicated link above) is very, very huge!

  2. Hard to pick a favorite, but it'd have to be the armadillo paddy wagon from "The Swimming Pool". Just imagine today's studios and toy companies approving a plaything depicting a licensed character being incarcerated!

  3. None of the major Flintstone (the original) actors are alive today.

  4. Wow, and I thought I was the ultimate Flintstones collector! Only 15 years? I've been collecting since the Flintstones were in their original run, and I haven't got even a fragment of one of those shelves. My collection is tiny, tiny by comparison.

That Monster Fred is pretty bizarre and scary.

I'm amazed at so many minor characters being depicted. I saw Alvin Brickrock, Wilma's mother, the Gruesomes, the Drive-In waitress, a few one-off characters from individual episodes. I could stare at these photos for hours and still not catch everything.

Kudos to Evan for amassing so much in such a short time! Amazingly done!

  5. I also saw a Fred's statuette as Hi-Fye (from the episode The Girls' Night Out, which's from the 1st season [1960-61] of the Flintstones classical series), as also a statuette of the Fred's crazy uncle (from the episode of the haunted house, which's from the 5th season [1964-65] of the Flintstones classical series).
