My older brother and I collected many of the 9 minute " Castle Films " digests (Horror, comedy and cartoon)which was actually owned by Universal Pictures. Universal owned the rights to all Paramount Pictures prior to 1948 because Paramount sold the television rights to MCA, so " Castle Films " also had many Paramount cartoon shorts, and of course their own library. I really miss alot of that stuff. Man, where have all the fun contests gone?Errolnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5403931334822730200.post-13818236012816797562010-01-06T23:05:58.524-08:002010-01-06T23:05:58.524-08:00Too bad no one could license the Capitol and Langl...Too bad no one could license the Capitol and Langlois stoc k libaries and Hanna-Barbera sound effects libraries to home use. Well, okay, the Music-Que library mentioned earlier in the Augie post would suffice, but it's better to try that with an "Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy" home movie.:/Pokeyhttp://sjcarrasblog.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
