A new fabrication shop had been built next door to the Taft Corporate headquarters on Highland Avenue in Cincinnati to handle the demands of the Taft parks' characters. And it would make sense if some suits were used for the public appearances around the country. Eventually, they started making Smurf suits when those characters became stars. For the record, you had be 5'7" tall to be a Smurf. The cereal wasn't that successful, true, but it was around quite a while.
