An imaginative way around the tedium of animating someone playing a guitar, predating the psychedelic era enough that the Saturday morning reruns looked current and fit right in with "The Monkees." Howard Morris, then Janet Waldo and George O'Hanlon ALL get to sing the "Jet Screamer" song! I love how this really portrays Judy as a giddily excited teenage girl in contrast to the more sedate 70s teenage (and other) Hanna-Barbera depictions, but by the 1970s things had already changed..

Now, if I could just spin around like Jet with that blam sound effect..:) Interesting thaqt Cannon did just this..it's well known, I guess, that arguments like George vs Judy (which makes it sort of like a Jazz Singer story) were total and complete anathema to Bobe Cannon. Stories have even been told of his UPA troubles with the Oscar Winning and seminal "Gerald McBoing-Boing" on that (that said, still very underrated guy).SCPokeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15936757752447320636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5403931334822730200.post-75387396029983268372017-01-14T12:02:15.941-08:002017-01-14T12:02:15.941-08:00My guess on the BG's is Art Lozzi though there...My guess on the BG's is Art Lozzi though there were also contributions by Bob Abrams and Lee Branscome.
